This pencil drawing is cool. It is very interesting but drawings are not much my favorite thing comparatively to paintings. However this very detailed drawing is patches upon patches of cross hatching. The detail gives it a very realistic landscape. I love the use of shading on the lakes. It is totally realistic and it's great.

Yessss! and Yessss! Although it clearly says that the artist used oil it looks very much like water colors. There are clearly blobs of color however, it is detailed and lovely. At the same time it is a super abstract painting.
