I'm very impressed by the life like realism that is going on in this drawing. Although I have never used graphite myself it's clear that this is a material that creates a very smooth surface. This is one of those pictures that are almost to realistic but there is an element that is rather unearthly about it. This ghastly color (an I'm not just talking about the fact that it is black and white

I particularly like the use of colors that are very bright but dulled down but the where amount of shapes that over lap it. Because of everything that's going on I don't eve mind the white space so much. It basically gives my eyes some kind of resting point in all the crazy. I also like the idea of mixed media to create especially because of my long term mixed media project that keeps on changing.
